Taught by someone who really knows clay

The Throwing Shed is run by Samantha Robinson, a master potter whose own porcelain is sold under her name. You get the real techniques, explained plainly, and nobody expects you to take it as seriously as she does.

Come once for a fun night, or keep coming back and build a practice. Masterclasses for keen makers who want to go deeper are on the way.

The studio door

Come and see what's fresh from the kiln. The studio door opens onto shelves of handmade ceramics for sale. It's a working studio, so hours change week to week: email first and we'll make sure someone's in.
